Early Childhood professionals will hear excerpts from The Reflective Teacher Podcast and learn about how it can be used as a resource for professional development that is alternative to reading articles or books. EC directors/administrators will receive a simple protocol they can use for unpacking episodes with teaching teams. Pocasters Marthe Weil and Lindsey Elliott interview leaders in early childhood education; topics include best practices in documentation, effective classroom language, mindfulness, classroom behavior management, and more. Marthe Weil and Lindsey Elliott are co-teachers that teach and learn together in a Junior Kindergarten classroom in Chicago. They both love a good story— one that sparks an ‘ah-ha moment’ that can then be applied to their daily work with children. In her free time, Marthe loves to ride her bike, take photographs, spend time with her family and fiance. Lindsey enjoys exploring with her daughter and son, reading, working on her (many) house projects and savoring the city and all it has to offer.
