The ECE-RJ 2026-2027 Professional Learning Series supports professional growth, leadership development, Jewish learning, reflective practice, innovation in early childhood education, and peer learning across the Reform Movement and beyond.
ECE-RJ members serve children, families, educators, and Jewish communities through exceptional early childhood education. Whether leading schools, coaching teachers, or working directly with young children, our members are committed to creating joyful Jewish learning environments grounded in relationships, inquiry, belonging, and Jewish values.
The ECE-RJ Professional Learning Series seeks engaging, practical, and thought-provoking workshops that help educators strengthen their practice, deepen Jewish learning, build leadership capacity, and cultivate thriving school communities.
The series will run from August 2026 through June 2027, with most workshops taking place between September and May.
ECE-RJ seeks presentations that reflect the values of Reform Judaism and the unique context of Jewish early childhood education. We welcome proposals from both Jewish and non-Jewish presenters whose expertise can strengthen the work of ECE-RJ educators and leaders. While presenters need not work in Jewish education, successful proposals should demonstrate an understanding of—or willingness to connect their expertise to—the mission, values, and practices of Reform Jewish early childhood communities.
