URJ Sparks of Judaism – For Infant/Toddler Teachers (ECE-RJ Member Opportunity)

15 Nov 2018
7:00pm - 8:00pm EST

URJ’s Sparks of Judaism, offered in partnership with ECE-RJ, is now open for registration. This 4-session online course is designed to introduce the culture and traditions of Reform Judaism to early childhood educators who are new to Judaism or who are teaching in a Jewish setting for the first time. It is available exclusively to ECE-RJ members, as part of our member learning opportunities for teachers.

The goal of this course is to spark participants’ interest and curiosity through the introduction of modern and traditional concepts of Judaism. Each cohort actively participates in practical applications of Jewish texts, holidays, and ideas, in their early childhood classrooms. This learning opportunity can help teachers understand Judaism more deeply and become more confident and knowledgeable educators.

The sessions for infant/toddler teachers will be offered on the following dates:

  • Thursday, November 1, 7:00-8:00pm ET

  • Thursday, November 8, 7:00-8:00pm ET

  • Thursday, November 15, 7:00-8:00pm ET

  • Thursday, November 29, 7:00-8:00pm ET

Registrants should plan to attend on all dates. An additional cohort for Preschool/Pre-K teachers will also launch in November.

Register by October 25th.
